Top Tutoring Academy (TTA) was founded by three qualified and experienced teachers. The concept was born from a love and passion for the development of children and the joy experienced when learners grasp concepts which they initially struggled with. TTA strives to assist each individual learner reach their potential through adapted methods of learning most suited to the individual. We seek to build confidence and a joy of learning in every learner.
Meet the team
Anke stramrood
I am a qualified teacher with four years of experience. I have always had a passion for teaching and a love for children and therefore knew very early on in life that education would be the profession for me. I have been privileged in that I have been given opportunities which have allowed me to experience all aspects of teaching and learning for all different ages. I continue to grow in my love and passion for teaching and cannot imagine ever doing anything else. I am grateful to do what I love each and every day.
Elske Lawton
After graduating from Stellenbosch University with my Bcomm degree in Industrial Psychology and spending some time in the corporate world, I soon realised my passions lay elsewhere. With many years of tutoring throughout my University career, coupled with my love for education and children, I decided to pursue my Postgraduate degree in Education. After teaching as a Grade 6 and 7 Mathematics, English and Science teacher I can confidently say that teaching is my absolute passion and joy and I am thankful that I can wake up every day and do what I love.
